Terms of Service

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Details in red are not filled in.

These terms are the agreement between you and All Things Pure Private Limited (“Tuenit”, “we”) for the app at app.tuenit.com. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use Tuenit.

Two other documents form part of this agreement: the Acceptable Use Policy, which says what you may not do with Tuenit, and the App End User Licence Agreement, which is your licence to use the software. The Privacy Policy says what we do with your data.

1. What Tuenit is

Tuenit is a wellness coaching app. Your coach, “Tuen”, is an artificial intelligence — a large language model (Anthropic’s Claude) that generates text from the information you give it. There is no human behind the conversation, and no clinician reviews what it tells you before you see it.

2. Tuenit is not medical advice

Nothing in Tuenit is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and Tuenit is not a substitute for a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, midwife or therapist. Tuen can be confidently wrong: it can misread a lab value, miss an interaction between a supplement and your medication, or give general information that is wrong for you in particular.

  • Talk to a qualified clinician before changing any medication, and before starting supplements if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, or taking prescription medicine.
  • Never delay or ignore medical advice because of something Tuenit said.
  • If you think you may be having a medical emergency, stop and call your local emergency number now — 112 in India, or 108 for an ambulance — or go to an emergency department. Tuenit is not monitored, is not an emergency service, and no one reads your messages in real time.
  • If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please contact a crisis service — in India, Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416.

Where you have told us which country you are in, the app gives that country’s emergency number instead where it knows one (995 in Singapore, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US). It does not know every country, so please learn yours.

3. Not for contraception, conception or fertility decisions

Where Tuenit shows a cycle phase or an ovulation estimate, it is an estimate calculated from the dates you entered. It is not a fertility-awareness method and must not be used to avoid or to plan a pregnancy. Use a method approved for that purpose and speak to a clinician.

4. You must be 18 or older

Tuenit is for adults. You confirm at sign-up that you are 18 or older. We may close an account if we learn that is not true. The coach gives no supplement dose at all to anyone recorded as under 18.

5. Where Tuenit is offered

Tuenit is offered from India, by an Indian company, and is meant for people in India. It is not offered to, marketed to or aimed at people in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States. We have no company, office, establishment or representative anywhere but India, and we do not hold ourselves out as complying with any country’s law but India’s.

We do not block sign-ups from other countries. If you create an account from outside India you do so on your own initiative: these terms and the laws of India govern what we owe each other, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes, and we do not undertake to meet the requirements of your local law. If that is not acceptable where you live, please do not use Tuenit.

6. Your account

  • Give us accurate information — the coaching is only as good as it.
  • Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
  • One account per person. Don’t use someone else’s.
  • Your session signs itself out after ten minutes of not being used. That is deliberate, and it is not a promise about anyone else’s access to your device.

7. How you may use Tuenit

The rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: for yourself, honestly, by hand, and without trying to talk the coach out of its safety rules.

8. The software

Your licence to use the app is in the App End User Licence Agreement, which also forms part of these terms. It is personal, revocable, and does not make any of the software yours.

9. Your data

What we collect and where it goes is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your health data is stored in Australia, processed in Singapore and sent to an AI provider in the United States. Your information stays yours; you can download it or delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy.

10. What Tuen writes

The plans and replies Tuen generates are yours to use for yourself. We don’t claim ownership of what you type in. Because the text is generated, two people can receive similar wording, and we make no claim that any output is original, complete or correct.

11. Availability and changes

Tuenit is in beta and free to use while it is. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may stop offering the service. If we close the service we will give you notice and a chance to download your data.

We set per-person limits on how often the coach and the other AI features can be called. They exist to stop a loop or a script, not to interrupt anyone, but they mean the service is not available without limit.

12. No warranty

Tuenit is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about its accuracy, availability or fitness for any purpose, including any health purpose.

13. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated guidance in place of professional advice. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

14. Your rights as a consumer in India

Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If you think the service has been deficient, tell us first: our grievance officer is named at the end of the Privacy Policy and answers within 30 days. If that does not resolve it, you can take the complaint to the consumer commission with jurisdiction where you live.

Who we legally are, and how to reach us, is in section 17 — the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require us to publish it.

15. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Privacy; the deletion is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where we believe continuing would be unsafe. Closing an account deletes it.

16. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially we will raise the version number and ask you to review them the next time you open the app. Continuing to use Tuenit after that means you accept the new version.

17. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai. This does not affect your right under Indian consumer law to complain to the consumer commission for your own district or state.

Acceptable Use Policy

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Details in red are not filled in.

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It says what you may not do with Tuenit. Most of it comes down to one thing: Tuenit is a coach for one adult — you — and it has safety rules that are the only thing standing between you and a generated answer nobody qualified has read.

1. Not as a medical device, and not for diagnosis

Don’t use Tuenit:

  • to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, or to decide whether you have a condition;
  • to decide whether to start, stop or change a prescription medicine, or to replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist, midwife or therapist;
  • to monitor or manage a condition where being wrong would be dangerous — for example dosing insulin, managing an anticoagulant, or deciding whether a symptom needs to be seen;
  • to avoid or to plan a pregnancy, or to time anything by a cycle phase or ovulation estimate the app shows;
  • in place of emergency care. If something might be an emergency, call 112 in India (108 for an ambulance) or your local emergency number.

Tuenit is not approved as a medical device anywhere, and we do not claim it is one. Using it as one is a use we have not built for and cannot make safe.

2. Only for yourself

  • One account, one adult. Don’t set up an account for someone else, or share yours.
  • Don’t enter another person’s health information — theirs or a family member’s, a patient’s or a client’s — without their knowledge and agreement, and never for a child.
  • Don’t pass on what Tuen writes as health advice for another person, and don’t use Tuenit to advise anyone else professionally. It is generated text, tailored to one profile, and reviewed by nobody.

3. Don’t work around the safety rules

Tuenit refuses certain things on purpose. It stops coaching and tells you to get emergency care when you describe something that could be one. It will not set a supplement dose above the adult upper intake level, or any dose at all for someone recorded as under 18. It keeps to a list of things excluded in pregnancy and while nursing. It will not prescribe fasting, a calorie deficit or a weight target to someone describing disordered eating. Some of those checks run in code, after the model has written its answer, precisely because a rule written in a prompt can be talked around.

So don’t try to talk around them. That means no:

  • prompts written to make the coach ignore its instructions, reveal them, or act as a different system;
  • pretending to be a clinician, a pharmacist, a researcher or someone from Tuenit, in order to be answered differently;
  • role-play, hypotheticals or “asking for a friend” framed to get a dose, an instruction or a diagnosis the rules refuse;
  • entering information you know to be false to unlock something — a different age, a weight you don’t have, a medication or a pregnancy left off your profile;
  • using Tuenit to produce content intended to harm you or anyone else, or to work out how to.

Getting round a safety rule is not a clever trick on us. It removes the guard and leaves you with a confident wrong answer that has a dose attached.

4. Don’t upload other people’s records

The lab upload is for your own reports. Don’t upload a report, prescription, discharge summary or any other record belonging to someone else, and don’t upload a document that contains other people’s personal information alongside yours. If you do, you are handing us data we have no lawful basis to hold, and we will delete it.

5. No automated access, scraping or resale

  • Use Tuenit through a normal browser session. No scripts, bots, scrapers, crawlers, headless browsers or wrappers, and nothing that calls our endpoints directly.
  • Don’t resell access, share your account, put Tuenit behind another product, or offer its output as a service.
  • Don’t collect our prompts, rules, plan text or coach replies in bulk, and don’t use anything you get from Tuenit to train a model or build a competing product.

We set per-person limits on how often the AI features can be called. Don’t try to get past them with extra accounts.

6. Don’t attack the service

No attempts to reach another person’s data, no probing for vulnerabilities, no load or penetration testing, and nothing intended to break or overload the app. If you find a security problem, please tell us at admin@tuenit.com rather than exploring it — we would rather hear from you than find out later.

7. Nothing unlawful

Don’t use Tuenit for anything unlawful under the laws of India, and don’t use it in a way that breaches our AI provider’s own usage policy — their policy treats health guidance as a high-risk use, and our access to the model depends on keeping to it.

8. What happens if you break these rules

We may warn you, limit what your account can do, suspend it, or close it. Which one depends on what happened and whether it looks deliberate.

For anything that puts you or another person at risk, or that attacks the service or our AI provider’s access, we may close the account straight away and without a warning.

Closing an account means deleting it. The data goes with it, and what survives a deletion is only what the Privacy Policy says survives one. Where it is reasonable to, we will email you first so you can download your data from Profile → Privacy. Where waiting would leave someone at risk, we will not wait.

If you think we have got this wrong, email admin@tuenit.com and a person will read it. We answer within 30 days.

9. Telling us about a problem

If Tuen tells you something unsafe, wrong or alarming, please send it to us at admin@tuenit.com. Nobody reads your conversations as they happen, and no clinician reviews them at all, so a bad answer reaches us only if you send it.

App End User Licence Agreement

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Details in red are not filled in.

This is your licence to use the Tuenit software. It is part of the Terms of Service, and it is between you and All Things Pure Private Limited.

1. What this covers

Tuenit is a website you use in a browser, at app.tuenit.com. There is nothing to install, and Tuenit is not distributed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, so no store’s terms apply to it. This agreement covers the software. The Terms of Service cover the service, the Acceptable Use Policy covers what you may do with it, and the Privacy Policy covers your data.

2. The licence we give you

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to use Tuenit for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, for as long as your account exists and you keep to the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy.

That is permission to use, not a sale. Nothing in the software is assigned or sold to you, and no rights are given beyond the ones written here.

3. What stays yours

Your health information and everything you type stay yours. We do not claim ownership of any of it, and nothing here gives us a right to use it for our own purposes.

To run the service we need permission to do specific things with it: store it, show it back to you, and send the parts needed to generate a reply to our AI provider. That permission is limited to running Tuenit for you, lasts as long as your account does, and ends when you delete it. We do not use your content to train AI models, to advertise, or for anything else — see the Privacy Policy.

4. What stays ours

The app stays ours: its code, its design, the Tuenit and Tuen names and marks, the instructions we write for the model, and the rule set behind them. Nothing in this licence transfers any of it, and the licence in section 2 is the only right you get to any of it.

5. What Tuen writes

The plans, lab summaries, reviews and replies Tuen writes for you are yours to use for yourself. We do not claim ownership of them.

We also make no claim that they are original. The text is generated, so two people can get near-identical wording, and the same question can get a different answer tomorrow. Whether AI-generated text is protected by copyright at all is unsettled in India and elsewhere, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we will say plainly: you may keep it, download it and act on it at your own risk, and you may not resell it or publish it as professional health advice.

6. What you may not do

  • copy, adapt, translate or make derivative works of the software;
  • rent, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise make it available to anyone else;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or try to derive its source code, its prompts or its rule set — except to the extent the law gives you that right and it cannot be excluded by agreement, which in India includes section 52(1)(ab) of the Copyright Act, 1957 for interoperability;
  • remove or obscure a copyright notice, a licence notice or a disclaimer;
  • reach it with anything other than a normal browser session — no scripts, scrapers, wrappers or resale of access; see the Acceptable Use Policy;
  • use it, or anything you get out of it, to build a competing product or to train a model.

7. Open-source components

Tuenit is built on open-source software, and each of those components keeps its own licence. Nothing here changes your rights under those licences, and where one of them gives you a right that conflicts with this agreement, theirs wins for that component. If one entitles you to a notice or to source code, email admin@tuenit.com and we will give it to you.

8. No fee today

Tuenit is free while it is in beta. If we start charging, we will say so before you have to pay anything and you can decide then. This licence does not promise a price, a free tier or a refund, because none of those exist yet.

9. The app changes

We change Tuenit continuously and there is no version to hold on to. A feature can appear, change or disappear, and this licence covers whatever the app is on the day you use it. We do not promise to keep any feature, and we do not promise backwards compatibility with anything you have exported.

10. The software is provided as it is

The software is provided as it is, with all faults. We give no warranty that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, error-free or fit for any particular purpose, including any health purpose. To the extent the laws of India allow, the terms, conditions and warranties that would otherwise be implied into this licence are excluded.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The limits on our liability in the Terms of Service apply to this licence too.

11. How the licence ends

The licence ends the moment your account does — when you delete it in Profile → Privacy, or when we close it under the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy. It also ends if we stop offering Tuenit.

When it ends, stop using the app. Anything you downloaded before then stays yours to keep, and sections 4, 5 and 10 carry on applying to it.

12. Law and contact

This licence is governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, on the same terms as section 17 of the Terms of Service.

Privacy Policy

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Details in red are not filled in.

Tuenit is an AI health coach. To coach you, it holds a detailed picture of your health — the kind of information that deserves to be explained plainly rather than buried. This page says what we collect, who processes it, which countries it sits in, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

All Things Pure Private Limited (CIN U10304MH2018PTC308523), of 503 Palm Grove Apartments, East Avenue Road, Santacruz West, Mumbai 400054, India, is the data fiduciary (under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and data controller for the Tuenit app at app.tuenit.com. In the language of that Act you are the data principal and we are the data fiduciary: the decisions about why and how your data is used are ours, and so is the responsibility for them. Email us at admin@tuenit.com.

Where Tuenit is offered

Tuenit is offered from India, for people in India, and this policy is written to the DPDP Act. We have no company, office, establishment or representative anywhere else, and we do not hold ourselves out as complying with any other country’s data protection law.

We do not block sign-ups from other countries. If you use Tuenit from outside India, your data is handled exactly as this page describes and nothing more is added for where you live — see section 5 of the Terms of Service. Please read the countries your data passes through, below, and decide from there.

What we collect

Everything below comes from you — nothing is bought, scraped or inferred from third-party sources.

  • Account: your name, email address and password (stored only as a hash by our authentication provider).
  • About you: date of birth, sex, location (city and country), height, weight, blood group, occupation.
  • Health history: conditions and when they were diagnosed, allergies, symptoms, family history, and anything else you type into a free-text box.
  • Medications and supplements: names, doses, frequency and when you started them.
  • Lab results: the marker names, values and report dates you enter or confirm, plus the summary our AI writes about them. If you upload a photo or PDF of a report, the file is sent to our AI provider to be read and is not stored by us — only the values you check and save are kept.
  • Cycle and pregnancy information, if you choose to share it: whether you have a menstrual cycle, period and ovulation dates, cycle length, pregnancy or nursing status, and cycle-related answers in your daily check-in. You can use Tuenit without giving this consent; see “Your choices” below.
  • Your note about your body, if you write one — for example hormone therapy, or which lab ranges apply to you.
  • Wearable data, if you import a CSV from your wearable (currently WHOOP): heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, recovery, sleep, strain, workouts, and any journal notes contained in that file.
  • Daily check-ins: energy, sleep, mood, mental clarity, stress, rumination, digestion, workouts, and your own notes.
  • Your conversations with Tuen, in full.
  • What Tuen generates for you: your roadmap, supplement, nutrition, training and lifestyle plans, reviews, priorities and insights.
  • Your consents: which ones you gave or declined, the version of these documents you saw, and when. The DPDP Act puts the burden of proving consent on us, and this is how we meet it.
  • Technical records: our servers log requests (including IP address, browser type and the page requested) and errors. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools of any kind, and there are no third-party scripts in the app.

What we use it for, and on what basis

  • To coach you — generating your plans, reading your labs, answering you in chat, and adjusting things as your data changes. Basis: your consent.
  • To run and secure the service — signing you in, keeping the app working, investigating errors and abuse. Basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in a service that works.
  • To answer you when you contact us about your data.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. We do not use it to make any decision with a legal effect on you; every change to your plan is proposed to you and needs your agreement.

The AI part

Tuen’s replies, plans and lab summaries are generated by Claude, a large language model made by Anthropic, running on Anthropic’s servers in the United States. To answer you, we send Anthropic a summary of your profile — which includes your name, age, sex, location, conditions, medications, supplements, lab values, check-in trends, wearable trends, cycle and pregnancy information where you have shared it, and the conversation itself. Lab photos and PDFs you upload are sent to Anthropic to be transcribed.

Anthropic processes this on our instructions to produce the reply. How long Anthropic keeps the request and response: up to 30 days.

Who else handles your data

ProcessorWhat they doWhere
Supabase (on AWS)Your account and every record described above, and sign-inSydney, Australia
Google Cloud Run & Cloud LoggingRuns the app; holds server and error logsSingapore
AnthropicThe AI model that writes Tuen’s replies and reads lab uploadsUnited States
ResendSends confirmation and password-reset emailsUSA
NetlifyServes our marketing site tuenit.com, and logs the usual things a web server logs, including your IP address. Nothing from the app passes through itUnited States, on a global network
FormspreeThe mobile-app waiting list on our marketing site tuenit.com — your email address and the campaign tags in the link you arrived by. Never health data. The “Get started” forms on that site send nothing anywhere; they bring you here to sign upUnited States

The DPDP Act lets us involve a processor only under a contract with it. The agreements we rely on: Supabase's Data Processing Addendum, Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum, Anthropic's Data Processing Addendum, Resend's Data Processing Addendum and Netlify's Data Processing Agreement. Each is incorporated by reference into the terms we accepted when the account was opened, so each has been in force since.

The one exception, stated rather than glossed over: [[NO PUBLISHED DPA FOUND — ask Formspree for one, or replace the waiting-list form]].

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. We will tell you if that happens to your data unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Your data crosses borders

If you are in India, your health data is stored in Australia, processed on servers in Singapore, and sent to the United States each time Tuen generates something. Those countries’ laws differ from India’s, and their authorities may be able to compel access to data held there. Agreeing on the screen that opens onboarding — before you have told us anything about your health — is your consent to this; withdrawing it means we can no longer run the service for you.

If you are outside India, the same three countries apply, and the fiduciary responsible for your data is in India.

Until 11 September 2026 the app server ran in the United States (Iowa) rather than Singapore. Data created before that date passed through the United States.

How long we keep it

  • Your records: for as long as your account exists. We do not currently expire or archive anything automatically, so your history stays complete until you delete it.
  • When you delete your account: your rows are deleted from our database straight away.
  • Database backups held by Supabase: none. The current plan makes no automated backups, so nothing survives deletion in one.
  • Server and error logs: 14 days. Logs can contain identifiers and error text, and are not covered by an account deletion.
  • Copies held by Anthropic: up to 30 days.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act (and equivalent rights elsewhere) you can:

  • See and download everything we hold. Profile → Privacy → Download my data gives you a JSON file of every record, including your coach conversations.
  • Correct anything wrong. Most fields are editable in the app; email us for anything that isn’t.
  • Delete your account and your data, from Profile → Privacy. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
  • Withdraw a consent at any time, in Profile → Privacy. Withdrawing consent to health processing or to the overseas AI transfer means Tuenit cannot coach you, and we will offer to delete your account.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated (DPDP s.14). Email us to arrange it.
  • Complain. Write to our grievance officer (below). If we don’t resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Your choices about reproductive data

Cycle, ovulation and pregnancy information is asked for separately, during onboarding and not at sign-up. You can say no there, and you can withdraw it later in Profile → Privacy. Tuenit works without it. Where you have told us you are pregnant or nursing, we use that to avoid recommending things that would be unsafe.

Children

Tuenit is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and we ask you to confirm that at sign-up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it. We do not knowingly collect data about children.

How we protect it

The app is served over HTTPS. Every request is checked against your signed-in session on the server, and the database enforces per-user access rules, so one person’s account cannot read another’s. Our providers encrypt data at rest and in transit. Access to the production database is limited to the people who run Tuenit. Your session signs itself out after ten minutes of not being used, and we cap how often any one account can call the AI features.

No service can promise perfect security, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

If something goes wrong

If a security incident affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India without delay, and follow up with the detail the DPDP Rules require. If you are in Singapore or another country with its own rule, we will follow that too.

Cookies and what’s stored in your browser

We use cookies only to keep you signed in — there are no advertising or analytics cookies. The app also stores small preferences in your browser, such as when you last used it (for the idle sign-out) and which hints you have dismissed. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will raise the version number and ask you to review it the next time you open the app. Your existing consents record which version you agreed to.
